Abbie Turns 10 - I can't believe it!

Abbie celebrated her 10th birthday by taking some friends to Gatti town. They had a great time. Abbie has been asking for a cellphone for years. We finally gave in now that we are having to drop her off at more activities. You can see her excitement below.

Sleepy Eli

Eli is afraid of storms and generally comes to our bedroom and gets in bed with us. This morning we were surprised when we got up and found him in the hallway outside of his room asleep on the floor.

Holiday World

Eli loved the train ride.

We joined my sisters youth group for a day at Holiday World on Memorial Day. We had a lot of fun.

Issie Baptized

On June 7th, Isabelle was baptized by her daddy. She has been wanting to do this for a long time and we felt she was ready.

4-H Day at the Cardinals

On May 23rd, Abbie and I went to see the Cardinals. It was 4-H day so were were able to walk around the field. We really enjoyed the girl day together.

Dress Up!

Isabelle loves to play dress up with her dolls and now she has a new doll that is willing to dress up. Wont Eli loves these pictures when he is older.

Windy City

Mom and Issie joined me for a meeting in Chicago and Issie had a doctors appointment there. Issie is always a great girl at the doctor so her treat was taking her American Girl doll to the beauty shop. Mom treated us to "tea" at the American Girl Cafe. Issie was not impressed with the fancy food. We also enjoyed an evening at Mary Poppins on Broadway. It was a great trip and a much needed break from the everyday rush!

Gizmo

Abbie, Issie, and Gizmo (rat terrier). Gizmo is 9 months old and great with the kids. We had a fun weekend playing outside.

What a joy!

I was out of town a few days this week and one night when Brian was saying Eli's prayer he paused for a second and Eli said, "mommy". How sweet, he wanted to remember mommy.

Then when I got home he said, "mommy...happy". All night he kept loving on me and saying "happy". I had never heard him say that word before but I was sure he was telling me he was happy I was home.
