In November 2006, we decided to move forward with adopting a child. After much thought we decided to go through HIS KIDS Adoptions International out of Kansas. One of the things that attracted us to HIS KIDS was the section in their packet "The Bible and Adoption". This reconfirmed we were making the right decision.
Our plans are to adopt a Caucasian boy from Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was part of the former Soviet Union. We began the paperwork immediately and so far everything is going smoothly. On March 8th, we received our approval to be fingerprinted an plan to do that this week. We are hoping to bring Eli home this summer. Please keep us in your prayers as we move forward with this wonderful journey. The girls cannot wait to have a new little brother.
"Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west." Isaiah 43:5
